lyrics

This album , ergo this musical artist , are pretty much the total antithesis to 99% of my listening preferences , & I only unwittingly stumbled across this release whilst browsing through the contents of the 'buying' collection of another Bandcamp user . Spotting the piquant album cover artwork , & with my curiosity aroused , I indulged in some random sound bites from the album , & now ... I can't turn back .. I can't turn back .. I can't turn back .. I can't ,,,,,, diddley_whack
Recorded on an iPhone, the four tracks on the new EP from Kiara NGL burst with both big feelings and gentle melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 19, 2022

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
