"Un jour, mon bon pote a vu un jaguar, les deux pattes avant sur sa terrasse sur pilotis, à un mètre de lui. Surpris et apeuré, il s'est levé en brandissant une chaise au-dessus de sa tête. L'animal est parti nonchalamment. JGR a pris par la suite l'habitude de traverser le jardin quotidiennement. Cette histoire a excité mon imagination. Comme je n'ai pas eu la chance de côtoyer JGR, je lui ai destiné un album".
